Le Mystère Mug

The renowned French master alchemist Fulcanelli wrote Le Mystère des Cathédrales (The Mystery of the Cathedrals) in 1922 and then disappeared. His apprentice published it in Paris in 1926. The book is a Hermetic study of Gothic cathedral construction and decodes the symbology that was used and that display the secrets of alchemy.

The illustration is the frontispiece of the book and includes the 4 elements and 7 ‘planets’ in alchemical symbols.
